Also, the "Damnit Anna" single will (finally) be released in the UK on August 17th. It'll come with 2 b-sides, "Morning Fog" and "Worth The Fight." Sorry for the delay guys, but we haven't forgotten about you! We even have some shows over in your neck of the woods in August. We love yall.

UK/Europe Dates // NEW ALBUM (big echo)

HEYO!

Long time no see, friends. Sorry for the delay. After touring for the better part of a year (can't believe it's been a year since 'tin cans' was released...), we've taken the last couple months to rest up and more importantly, MAKE A NEW RECORD! Feels good to say that. We've been in the studio with super homie Chris Taylor from Grizzly Bear (who we just saw in SF 2 nights in a row and are just straight up AMAZING, by the way), making that magic happen. Anyway, we've been cooped up for too long, and it's time to play some shows. We're going to be taking our first trip over seas to play a handful of shows in the UK and some amazing festivals in Europe (my bloody valentine, grizzly bear, lily allen, wilco!@# etc) . A couple awesome shows in the states too. It's all quite exciting. Below are the dates--

oh yeah, we put up a demo of a new song called 'hand me downs' on our myspace. it sounds completely different than the album version, so don't get too attached yo. enjoy.

we are super stoked to let you know that we will be playing San Francisco's OUTSIDE LANDS FESTIVAL (great lineup, great location**WhoopeeeEE!) and the El Rey Theatre with the one and only THE WALKMEN!! (yeeeahhhhhhhhhh). saw the walkmen a couple months ago and they blew us away. such an amazing band to see live. well, such an amazing band PERIOD. buy tickets for that now, ok?

LACK OF UPDATES

AhoY THERE!!!

We haven't updated any of our thingies in a while, ye old blog, that good (face)book, tHE SPACE, maybe even TWEETING a little less, etc. we do apologize for this. and i hate to interrupt the silence with even more silence, BUT, there is some pretty god damn exciting stuff happening over here. can't say exactly what YET, but...

we've been working on a new album called BIG ECHO. we are pretty sure we are going to be quite proud of it when it's finished (getting soo close). we have been working on it with a pretty rad/oustanding dude, that we'll talk more about later (here's a hint)...

we're planning trips to some really amazing places, maybe even some we've never been to(?!) **hint hint**

we just found out we are doing some awesome shows with our buddy john vanderslice, he's got an amazing new record coming out that we can't wait to hear live (we suggest you do the same):
